2024 VIA Petite Luncheon, "From Johnsville to the Moon!"

Join us for the 2024 VIA Petite Luncheon

Speaker Mike Maguire, President of the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum, Inc., will outline the rich history of advanced research performed at the Naval Air Development Center, Johnsville, and the centrifuge training given to the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo astronauts. 

He will describe the critical work done at Johnsville over the years that led to now everyday items such as transition lenses in glasses to the GPS unit in your car. 

Our November VIA luncheon honors Veterans Day and is sponsored by the VIA's Program, Veterans, and Floral Arts Committees. VIA members, spouses, and guests are welcome to attend.

* Pan-seared Salmon, roasted red bliss potatoes, and a blend of fresh, seasonal vegetables.
* Chicken Roulade with roasted red bliss potatoes and a blend of fresh, seasonal vegetables. (The roulade is chicken rolled with spinach, roasted tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese.)
* Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Risotto.

The dessert for all will be Decadent Chocolate Cake.

Beverages include water, iced tea, coffee, and tea. There will also be a cash bar available.
